Description: Bacterial genetic determinants of Streptococcus pneumoniae (pneumococcus) contributing to development of pneumococcal hemolytic uremic syndrome (pHUS) are poorly understood. We sequenced whole genome of six pHUS isolates to identify bacterial factors which may contribute to the development of the disease.
