Project name: Oryctolagus cuniculus
Description: Project APVV-0044-12: Nuclear (nDNA), mitochondrial (mtDNA) and physiological biomarkers as selection criteria for the experimental and product application of animal models. The present project will be select during a defined group of know-how for the production and application of experimental animal models-rabbits, using appropriate selection criteria through biotechnological techniques (mtDNA PCR and nDNA PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, RFLP, Flow cytometry, ELISA). The originality of the project is given the complexity of looking at selective approach tested genotypes and haplotypes animal models destined for use in immunogenetic patterns. The project is based on the latest global study of genomics, physiological genetics, and immunogenetics, focusing on their impact on the position of the effective biomarkers influenced by positive selection immunized animals. Innovative design and modern approaches to choice of selection criteria using knowledge immunogenetics and genomics, with regard to the requirements and demands producer of vaccines. The project represents a comprehensive look at the problem of selection of optimal requirements for appropriate immunological and vaccination programs.
