Project name: Dugesia japonica

Description: Dugesia japonica were infected with foetal calf live containing 109 bacteria (Legionella pneumophila or Staphyloccocus aureus) or not (control) for 6 hours in autoclaved stream water at 18°C in an incubator with 12h hours light cycle, then extensively wash to removed extracellular bacteria. Planarians were starved for at least 1 weeks before being used in the experiments. After 6 hours total RNA was extracted by phenol chloroform methods, then RNA were sequenced. by highthrouput RNA sequencing technology (Illumina HiSeq2000).
