Project name: Eucalyptus melliodora

Description: We hypothesise the chemical differences in this tree are the result of a somatic mutation in a developing shoot apical meristem. The research aims are to determine what mutation caused such a drastic change in phenotype. This tree is chemically mosaic and we sequenced the transcriptome, using 454 technologies, of the two chemical morphs.
