Project name: Brassica carinata
Description: Guo_2012 linkage map of B. carinata was developed by Guo et al., Huazhong Agricultural University, China. Aim of this study was to develop a doubled haploid mapping population for B. carinata and construct a linkage map with the DH population and molecular markers to enable linkage groups to be assigned to the B and C genomes. Nine homozygous, genetically distinct accessions of B. carinata were obtained via microspore culture, from which two divergent doubled haploid (DH) lines were used to develop a DH mapping population that consisted of 183 lines.
