Description: Mycoplasma wenyonii [Eperythrozoon wenyonii] is a cell-wall less bacterium that may cause acute and chronic infections in cattle. Anemia, edema, lymphadenopathy, transient fever, anorexia, weight loss, infertility, and decreased milk production has been associated with M. wenyonii infections. Genomic DNA was obtained from white blood cells depleted EDTA blood sample of a cow.
