Project name: Ureaplasma diversum NCTC 246

Description: The genome of Ureaplasma diversum strain 246 was sequenced as part of the EVOLMYCO initiative funded by The French National Research Agency (ANR). This project aims to study the evolution of ruminant mycoplasmas with a special focus on horizontal gene transfer. Strain 246 from Ureaplasma diversum was isolated in 1972 from the lung of calf with pneumonia. Genomic DNA was amplified by Whole Genome Amplification before sequencing.
