Project name: Helianthus annuus

Description: A mapping population of 123 F8 recombinant inbred lines was developed from 'PAC-2' x 'RHA-266'. The plants were genotyped with SSR and AFLP markers; QTL analysis for resistance to downy mildew, plant height, stem diameter, head diameter, grain weight per plant, 1000 grain weight, percentage of oil in grain, and sowing-to-flowering date was also performed.
