Project name: Prunus persica

Description: A BC1 mapping population with peach as the recurrent parent was produced from IF7310828 x Prunus ferganensis. The Prunus ferganensis carried a powdery mildew resistance gene. The map was constructed using RFLP markers (from peach, almond, cherry, and apple), RAPD markers, SSR markers, one leaf morphology trait and one fruit trait.
