Project name: Anopheles gambiae
Description: Sequencing and preliminary analysis of 67,044 reads from a full-length enriched cDNA library derived from an adult female Anopheles gambiae mosquito was undertaken at the Unite de Biochimie et Biologie Moleculaire des Insectes (BBMI) at the Institut Pasteur. Based on clustering and alignment, the 35,575 clones define approximately 3,700 genes, a significant number of which improve current gene definitions and provide a mechanism for improved genome annotation. The full-length cDNA clones have been submitted to GenBank under the accession numbers BX005485-BX072528.
Data type: Transcriptome or Gene expression
Sample scope: Monoisolate
