Project name: Chaetomium globosum CBS 148.51
Description: The Broad Institute sequenced the Chaetomium globosum strain CBS 148.51 genome at 7X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. The current assembly (Assembly 1) consists of 1,228 nuclear genome contigs in 21 supercontigs, and 17 mitochondrial genome contigs in 16 supercontigs. The Chaetomium globosum strain CBS 148.51 genome assembly has undergone automated annotation. It will be used as a helper sequence for improving the annotation of the Neurospora crassa genome.
