Project name: Drosophila melanogaster
Description: Using a pool of over 200,000 ESTS, the Drosophila Gene Collection identified and sequenced putative full-length clones providing high-quality full-insert sequence data that represents an estimated 70% of the Drosophila genes. Clones were isolated from nine libraries representing different tissues and developmental stages. The cDNA sequence data provides both a full-length cDNS resource and an important reagent for annotating the Drosophila genome.
Data type: Transcriptome or Gene expression
Sample scope: Monoisolate
