Project name: Eucalyptus globulus

Description: A mapping population of 148 outbred F1 plants was created from an inter-population cross of King Island (female parent) and Taranna (male parent). The plants were genotyped with RFLP probes and microsatellite markers. The mapped genes included enzymes involved in lignin and cell-wall polysaccharide biosynthesis, andfloral-development.
