Project name: Sequence-based mapping of Schistosoma mansoni pooled BACs

Description: Post-sequencing assembly of pools of Schistosoma mansoni BAC clones, two pools of which have a common clone, should assemble together and provide the clones identification within the library. Two pooling windows, one of 13 BACs and the other of 11 BACs (~170kb) will provide 24 pools, which are to be indexed and sequenced through two Illumina lanes. Each pool will contain either 13 or 11 BACs. Each BAC will be represented in one pool from each pooling window; therefore each BAC will be sequenced twice. Post-sequencing assemblies of the pools will aim to unambiguously assemble the common clone.. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
