Project name: Aspergillus fumigatus strain:Afs35

Description: Aspergillus fumigatus is the pathogen which mainly causes the infectious disease, i.e. aspergillosis. A. fumigatus Afs35 is widely used as the laboratory strain, e.g. for genetic transformation. Although the genome of the type strain A. fumigatus Af293 has been completed, that of A. fumigatus Afs35 is not sequenced yet. This project is to sequence the genome of A. fumigatus Afs35.
