Project name: Mus musculus

Description: An inbred strain MSM/Ms is established from Japanese wild mice, Mus musuculs molossinus. It shows large extent of phenotypic as well as genomic differences from the common laboratory strains which are predominantly derived from west European M. m. domesticus. To unveil the genetic bases of inter-subspecific difference in the various phenotypes, we are conducting systematic collection of SNP data between MSM/Ms and the common laboratory strains
