Project name: Tannerella forsythia KS16
Description: Tannerella forsythia is a Gram negative obligate anaerobic pathogen, pleomorphic, non-motile, spindle-shaped, rodsand and regarded as a key contributor to periodontitis. Except for ATCC 43037, a laboratory strain widely used as a reference, no complete genome sequence of T. forsythia isolate was available, because the bacteria requires strict culture condition. We, therefore, determined the complete genome sequences of two clinical isolate.
