Description: To explore the remediation efficiency and intrinsic regulatory mechanisms of arbor-shrub co-planting for Pb- and Cd-contaminated soil, this study selected two arbor species, Salix matsudana (dryland willow) and Koelreuteria paniculata and two shrub species, Euonymus japonicus and Ligustrum vicaryi. Both monocropping and co-planting treatments were established to investigate the effects of co-planting on plant growth and heavy metal enrichment.
