Description: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is initiated by peripheral autoreactive T cells that infiltrate the central nervous system (CNS) and mediate demyelination. Although tolerogenic dendritic cell (tolDC) vaccines show promise for restoring antigen-specific immune tolerance, their clinical application is hindered by poor migration, limited antigen presentation, and instability in inflammatory conditions. Here, we developed a 3D-printed tolerogenic artificial lymph node (tol-aLN) to overcome these limitations.
