Project name: groundnut resequencing
Description: Groundnut, also known as peanut and scientifically named Arachis hypogaea L., is an essential crop that is widely cultivated across the globe for its high-quality edible oil. Thus, we performed a large-scale sequencing of the core collection of global groundnuts. Our study aims to provide significant contributions to the understanding of the genetic diversity of this crop and help identify genetic markers that can be useful for improving breeding programs.
