Project name: BGIPhageX_Jumbo_Phage
Description: Like their bacteria host, phages widely exist in numerous environments from human gut to deep ocean, representing a huge virus diversity yet remain poorly characterized. Among them, jumbo phages are of particular interests due to their large genome (>200 kb) and unusual biology. Here we reported the isolation and characterization of two phages infecting clinical antibiotic-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae strains: ϕKp5130 and ϕKp9438.
