Project name: The evolutionary mechanism of the key ecological adaptation of the ficus-pollinator mutualism persistence
Description: We use GC-MS and GC-EAD to analyze the release of VOCs from Ficus pumila and its related species and the preference of pollinator bees. We reveal the metabolic pathways of ficus-specific VOCs and the host identification of pollinators by comparing transcriptome and proteome methods.Thereby further revealing the co-evolutionary relationship of the ficus bee system in specific traits and the molecular evolutionary pattern of related genes.
