Project name: An improved genome assembly and analysis of chromatin architecture in Jatropha curcas
Description: The chromatin architecture is an essential factor in regulating gene transcription in different cell types and developmental phases. Here we reported a chromosome-scale de novo assembly of Jatropha genome using PacBio long-reads combined with genome-wide chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) technologies. Based on the high-quality reference genome, we detected features of chromatin architecture in monoecious and gynoecious inflorescence buds in Jatropha. Different chromatin architectures between monoecy and gynoecy Jatropha suggested that chromatin organization is associated with the process of sex differentiation.
