Abstract
The author studied the RNA and DNA concentration in the spleen of control rats, which had been adrenalectomized and had received ACTH before the trauma and 10 min, 5 and 10 hours after the beginning of the limbs' soft tissue crushing. The changes of nucleic acid metabolization in the spleen during the trauma were caused by the influence of corticosteroid hormones.
