Abstract
The radio-carpal joints in 120 normal persons were examined by arthrography. It was shown that this joint communicates with the carpal joints, carpo-metacarpal joints and with the distal radio-ulnar joint. Three types, with various accessory pouches, could be defined. A study of the normal radiological anatomy of the radio-carpal joint is necessary before a diagnosis of pathological changes in the joint can be made.
