Abstract
Temporal regulation in cats was studied using operant conditioning techniques; milk was delivered according to either a two-lever response duration schedule or a two-lever DRL schedule. After an equal number of experimental sessions, the subjects on the DRL schedule reached larger delay values than the subjects on the response duration schedule. Hypotheses concerning the intervention of proprioceptive feedback in the temporal regulation of motor behavior are discussed.
