Abstract
In a retrospective study the chemotherapeutic response of retroperitoneal tumours was controlled by means of ultrasound and lymphangiography 34 patients. It could be demonstrated that ultrasound is a reliable tool for the evaluation of bulky retroperitoneal tumours, frequently undetectable by lymphangiography. The reliability was better than 90%.
